Create EPS file in Inkscape - this is how to do it
If you want to save a file in EPS format, it works with an appropriate graphics program. Follow these steps to create an EPS file with the free software Inkscape:- Open Inkscape and create a new file.
- Use the existing tools to create a graphic that you want to save in EPS format.
- Click on "File" in the navigation and then on "Save as...".
- Navigate to the directory where you want to save the file and enter a file name in the corresponding input field.
- Click on the arrow symbol at "File type" to call up the list of all available formats and select "Encapsulated PostScript".
- Click on "Save". A new window will then open with further setting options.
- Check the box at the "Convert text to path" option and click "Ok" to save.
