Unlike Dropbox, with Google Drive you don't have the option of expanding your storage space for free, for example by referring friends. But in return, the rates at Google's cloud service are very fair - so the upgrade is worth it. The official pricing table looks like this:

• 15 GB are free
• 100 GB cost 1.99 euros per month or 19.99 euros per year
• 200 GB cost 2.99 euros per month or 29.99 euros per year
• 2 TB cost 9.99 euros per month or 99,99 Euro pro Jahr
• 10 TB kosten 99,99 Euro pro Monat
• 20 TB kosten 199,99 Euro pro Monat
• 30 TB kosten 299,99 Euro pro Monat

Der kleinste kostenpflichtige Tarif mit 100 GB ist relativ betrachtet am teuersten. Bei den größeren Paketen ist der Preis pro Speicher jedoch immer exakt gleich. Die alte Regel, dass die größten Pakete immer am günstigsten sind, gilt bei Google Drive also nicht.
