Samsung: This is TV Plus - and here's how to get it

Under the motto "TV at no extra cost," Samsung gifted SmartTV owners with a comprehensive channel package towards the end of 2020. Our guide explains what TV Plus offers.

Online TV is the future, and manufacturers like Samsung are increasingly banking on it. TV Plus is the latest example.

Samsung: TV Plus significantly expands channel list

TV Plus went live in November 2020. Via update, all Samsung SmartTVs from 2017 were provided with the new program package.

• This comprises a total of 80 channels, all of which are obtained via the Internet. Users are thus not dependent on their cable connection, terrestrial reception or satellite dish.
• TV Plus includes channels of very different divisions, starting with Comedy Central Germany to car channels such as AutoMotorSport to informative channels such as Bloomberg TV+ or Euronews Live.
• Also from Rakuten TV, several channels are included.
• The content is partly live, partly linear and partly available on demand.

You will find the channels by default on channel numbers beyond 4000. For example, Focus TV is on channel 4005, Golem on 4105 and Motorvision.tv on 4051.
