MHW Iceborne: These are the Gajalaka - all info on the cat people

Cats are everywhere in Monster Hunter World. Among the NPC races, the Gajalaka have now reached cult status. We explain what makes the Grymalkines so special and how to befriend them.

Always under power: the Gajalaka are bent on battle - against whomever.

The Gajalaka were already present in the main game Monster Hunter World. In Iceborne, their importance has become even greater.

MHW Iceborne: That's why the Gajalaka are so iconic

Here's what you should know about the Gajalaka:
  • First, the Gajalaka stand out visually: In their red war gear, they resemble small voodoo fighters from the jungle.
  • In terms of combat, the Gajalaka are almost legendary, as they are particularly aggressive and tricky to attack. The entire assortment of poison and paralysis to group attacks with bombs is used.
  • The aggressiveness goes so far that even players are by no means safe from the cats. Free of charge, there is always the shrill, maniacal screaming.
  • Even in difficult fights, however, the support of Gajalaka is welcome, as their penetrating power is a great help.
  • From the Gajalaka you also get one of the six Palico gadgets, namely the Miaulotow cocktail.
