How to copy formulas in Excel

In Excel, you have two options to move a formula to another cell. When you move the formula, the cell references in the formula change - but regardless of the type of cell reference. Another possibility is to copy a formula. In this case, the relative cell references are changed. If you want to copy the formula and paste it into another cell, then this is done via the clipboard.

1. Click on the cell that contains the formula you want to copy.
