iPhone: Move apps where you want

In the App Store you can download many different apps. After you download and install an app, the corresponding icon will appear on your homescreen. To keep track of the apps, it is possible to move them wherever you want.

How to move your iPhone apps wherever you want

If you want to expand the functionality of your iPhone, this is possible by installing various apps. Once you have downloaded them, a corresponding icon will appear on your home screen, which you use to launch the app. To keep track of your apps, you can move them around as you like.

1. Go to the screen where the icons you want to move are located.
2. Tap on an app icon and hold it down. After a few seconds, you can move all the icons to your liking on the Home Screen.
3. Once the icon is in a desired position, release it. To switch to another screen, drag the app to one of the screen edges.
4. From iOS11 it is possible to move multiple apps at the same time. To do this, tap on an icon and move it a little, then tap on another app with another finger. After that, you can move both of them at the same time. So it is possible to reposition as many apps as you like at once.
