Set up AirPods - configure your headphones

One advantage of Apple's AirPods is that you hardly have to make any settings to enjoy music. What's important is that you take advantage of the options Apple offers to make your everyday life even more comfortable.

AirPods: these configurations you can make

In total, since Apple started working with iOS 11, you can use five commands to set up your AirPods. To do this, first open the Bluetooth menu on your iOS device and select AirPods there. After that, select "Double tap on AirPod".You can now select each headphone individually. For each headphone, you can select one of the following commands:
  1. Select Siri
  2. Play and pause current playback
  3. Skip to next track
  4. Skip to previous track
  5. Disable features
Select a command for each individual AirPod and confirm your selection. You will now be asked if you are sure this is how you want to assign the commands. If you are happy with your selection, confirm it. You can reassign the commands at any time or delete all commands.

Individualize the call function?

It is particularly advantageous in a professional environment that you can also make phone calls with your AirPods. However, Apple does not currently offer you a way to configure how to do this. Due to this, the old commands for answering and hanging up a phone call remain and switching between two calls is also still possible.
