Disney+: How many users are allowed? We have all the info

Account sharing is announced - and gladly beyond the limit of what is officially allowed. For the upcoming Disney+, which is eagerly awaited in Germany, this raises a now familiar question.

Fuzzy boundaries: Four parallel users are allowed on Disney+ - at least officially.

Shared accounts mean multiple joys. From the provider's point of view, this is not necessarily the case.

Disney+: How many users are officially allowed?

Disney+ will (at least initially) only launch with one subscription. So there is no choice:
  • The subscription costs 6.99 euros per month. Features like 4K resolution and multiple parallel users are included. By the way, pre-orderers get away cheaper.
  • Officially allowed is the parallel use of the service of up to four users, just like the largest competitor Netflix so.
  • Furthermore, seven profiles may be created - at Netflix it is five.
  • A total of ten devices can be registered.
How strict Disney will pay attention to compliance with these rules, however, remains to be seen. Account sharing has made school and so far the streaming providers showed themselves extremely tolerant, even if the specifications were violated. Optimists therefore assume that it will be the same with Disney+, although the low price makes a separate subscription seem all the more attractive.
