Windows 10: Adjust brightness - how to do it
The brightness plays an important role for the visual perception on the monitor. Depending on the time of day and lighting conditions, you may need to change the brightness. On laptops, you can usually change the brightness directly using keyboard shortcuts.
Windows 10: Adjust brightness in a few steps
If you want to change the brightness of your display directly through Windows 10, then you have two options. You can adjust the brightness directly via the Info Center. To do this, click on the speech bubble icon at the bottom right. At the very bottom, you can adjust the brightness via a slider. If you don't see the slider, click the "Expand" button to show it. Alternatively, you can also adjust the brightness via the settings.- Open the "Windows Settings" with the key combination "Win" + "I".
- Select "System" and there "Screen".
- Move the slider at "Brightness Level" until the desired brightness is reached.
- Click "Apply" below.
