Slack: screen sharing - here's how to do it

Slack is a popular application for chatting, calling, and sharing data. In Slack, you can use the Screen Share feature to share your screen so that other participants can see it as well. Find out how this works and what you need to keep in mind when sharing your screen in Slack here.

How to share your screen in Slack

After you download Slack, create an account and start a call with a person or in a channel by clicking the "phone icon" in the top right corner. During a call, share your screen as follows:

1. Click on the "Screen Icon" in the options.
2. This will activate the screen share feature, so the person you are talking to can now see your screen.
3. Clicking on the "Screen Icon" again will automatically stop sharing your screen.

• During a call in Slack, only one person can share the screen at a time.
