Facebook: Hide "Like" information - is that possible?

On Facebook it is possible to mark certain personalities, companies or similar with "Like" and have them displayed on your profile. If you don't want other people to be able to see what you've tagged, you can hide the details via the privacy settings.

How to hide "Like" mentions on Facebook

If you have a profile on Facebook, you can post pictures and videos and share them with your friends. They, in turn, have the option to comment or "Like" your content. In addition, you can "like" organizations, people or other pages. These "likes" are then displayed on your profile. If you do not want other users to see this content, you can hide the indication.

1. Go to the website of "Facebook" via your browser.
2. Open your own profile and click on "More" under your cover picture.
3. Hier wählen Sie anschließend die Option „Gefällt mir-Angaben“ aus.
4. Nun werden alle „Gefällt mir“-Angaben angezeigt, die Sie aktiviert haben.
5. Wählen Sie als nächstes innerhalb der Angaben oben rechts das Icon mit den drei Punkten nebeneinander aus.
6. Anschließend öffnet sich ein Dropdown-Menü. Klicken Sie auf die oberste Schaltfläche „Bereich verbergen“.
7. Auf diese Weise können Sie diverse Bereiche Ihres Profils vor anderen Personen verbergen. Wählen Sie hierfür über „Mehr“ den entsprechenden Bereich aus.
