Facebook: Delete comments - this option is available

On the social media platform Facebook, you can post images or text at any time. Other users then have the opportunity to like and comment on these posts. However, not always positive but also negative comments are published here. However, deleting these is only possible under certain conditions.

How to delete comments in Facebook

On Facebook you can write comments under most posts. If you have published something, then it is also possible for other users to comment on it. If you want to delete a comment, it is possible as the operator of the corresponding page. You cannot delete all comments on other pages. Within your own chronicle, it is possible to remove comments easily.

1. Open the Facebook app on your smartphone and navigate to your post where you want to delete comments.
2. Tap your finger on the corresponding comment and hold it down.
3. In the context menu, now select the option "Delete". Anschließend wird der Beitrag entfernt.
4. Innerhalb des Kontextmenüs haben Sie auch die Möglichkeit, den Nutzer direkt zu blockieren. Dies lohnt sich vor allem dann, wenn dieser Nutzer häufiger negative Kommentare unter Ihre Posts veröffentlicht.
5. Auf dem Desktop klicken Sie auf die drei Punkte über dem Kommentar. Anschließend haben Sie hier die gleichen Optionen zur Auswahl wie innerhalb der App.
