The Lenovo LEgion Pro will mount a Snapdragon 865+ processor with at least 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Coming July 22
July 22 will be an important day for gamers: it's the date chosen by both Asus and Lenovo to present their respective top-of-the-line gaming phones of 2020, namely the Asus ROG 3 and the Lenovo Legion Pro, both equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor.
In view of that date e-commerce sites are already heating up the servers to prepare for the onslaught of gamers willing to spend probably quite a bit to get their hands on these devices. On JD.com, one of the most important Chinese e-commerce, is already ready the page for the Legion Pro and there are also renderings of the front and rear as well as a teaser video. We have, therefore, the first confirmation of how it will be this Lenovo gaming phone and the first official technical characteristics. And these features will make many users happy to buy it.
Lenovo Legion Pro: confirmed features
From the renders and the video we have confirmation that the Lenovo Legion Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 865+ and will be compatible with 5G networks, will have an OLED screen with integrated fingerprint sensor (we can deduce this from the fact that the sensor is not present elsewhere) of still unknown size but with refresh rate up to 144 Hz, will have four Air Triggers (two in the top right and two in the bottom left), and a two-sensor rear photo department with LED flash.
In addition, the Legion Pro will have a sound system consisting of two stereo speakers and ultrafast charging up to 90 watts, which is a very high value. It is not yet clear, however, if the package will include a charger with such power or if you will have to buy an accessory charger to take advantage of the 90 Watts. But there's another fascinating technical feature in this smartphone: the front selfie camera.
Lenovo Legion Pro: the front camera
Looking at the screen of the Lenovo Legion Pro you'll immediately notice that there's no notch: the display is full screen to facilitate gaming sessions. Where is the front-facing camera? Inside the device and it comes out via a pop up mechanism from a compartment located on the side of the phone. It will also be a good camera: the sensor is in fact a good 20 megapixels.
Lenovo Legion Pro: the other technical features
Of the Lenovo Legion Pro we still do not know how much RAM and how much internal memory will have. We do know, however, that the Lenovo Legion normal, not Pro, which has already been presented and is a very different and definitely cheaper smartphone is equipped with 8/12/16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/512 GB of UFS ROM to flank the SoC Snapdragon 865. The Pro version, therefore, in addition to having a more powerful SoC (the 865+) will certainly not be able to have less storage than this one.
