A powerful next-generation processor and 16 GB of RAM make the Lenovo Legion the gaming smartphone that promises to break all records. The new model will be announced on July 22, a few hours before the launch of Asus' rival ROG Phone 3, whose release date has already been set for July 22.
The Lenovo Legion will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, the same one that comes with Asus' ROG Phone 3. The gaming smartphone will feature 16GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, as well as a 64-megapixel main rear camera, a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. AnTuTu analyzed the features of Lenovo Legion and gave it a very high score, suggesting that it will be the highest performing smartphone coming out and that it fears no rivals.

The CPU and GPU tests recorded 187,401 and 246,980 points respectively, while the memory was awarded 114,314. The UX test, on the other hand, scores 100,176 points. The final average for Lenovo Legion is 648,871, compared to 646,310 recorded by rival Asus ROG Phone 3.

The release date should be July 22, according to what Lenovo announced on the Chinese social network Weibo. At 7.30 am, local time in China, the gaming smartphone will be presented. A date that does not seem chosen at random, given that only a few hours later, at 11, is set the virtual launch of the rival ROG Phone 3 by Asus. Coincidence or provocation?
