Nokia is preparing to launch a new mysterious lowcost smartphone. The characteristics of the new model number TA-1322 have appeared on the certification site Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States, with a 3900 mAh battery and a camera with a circular module on the back.
The name of the new smartphone from Nokia for now remains a mystery, but according to some rumors it could be the Nokia 4.4 or the Nokia 7.3 model, two low or mid-range budget smartphones respectively. The same model TA-1322 of HDM Global, the company that revealed the Nokia, was spotted not only on the FCC site but also on a Russian certification site. In the last months of 2020 Nokia announced the arrival on the market several new smartphones, both mid-range and low-end, including some models that support 5G connectivity. Now we just have to wait to find out the name of the new mysterious phone.
Nokia, the features of the mysterious smartphone
The model number TA-1322 of HMD Global, the Finnish company that is the licensee of Nokia phones, has appeared on the FCC certification site and according to some leakers it would be a model that in the past has also been certified on other sites, such as the German TUV Rheinland.
The smartphone will have a 3900 mAh battery and in a rendering published by leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka OnLeaks, it will be equipped on the back with a circular camera module and a fingerprint scanner. In addition, the phone will be equipped with LTE module, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
TA-1322 will be the Nokia 4.4 or a variant of the Nokia 7.3?
The toto-name on the model of the upcoming Nokia smartphone gets more and more interesting. For some leakers it could be the new Nokia 4.4 model, although some believe that it is more likely to be a 4G variant of a smartphone announced some time ago by the company: the Nokia 7.3 5G.
In the second case, the smartphone would have a 6.5-inch FHD + HDR PureDisplay screen, quad configuration camera on the back with 48-megapixel main sensor and 24-megapixel front selfie cam. The doubt remains on the processor: if it is really a variant of the Nokia 7.3 5G, it could be equipped with a Snapdragon 690 SoC.
Nokia, when the mystery smartphone arrives
The rapid appearance in a few days of the TA-1322 model on several certification sites suggests that Nokia's mystery smartphone may arrive on the market soon. After all, the arrival of Nokia 7.3 5G had been announced by the end of 2020, so it could really be a variant of the model
