The official DAZN app is now available for Huawei smartphones: here's how to install it from the AppGallery
Good news for owners of the latest generation of Huawei smartphones: the official DAZN app is now available. The online streaming platform that through subscription allows you to enjoy many sporting events, both live and on demand at national and international level, is therefore covering this additional segment of the public that until now had remained uncovered.
The app is already available on AppGallery, the store of the Chinese giant that went to occupy the place of Google's Play Store after the block of the Trump administration dated May 2019. With the abrupt break in diplomatic relations between the U.S. and China, Huawei had to say goodbye to Mountain View's virtual store along with all Google Mobile Services (GMS), i.e. those applications that are usually installed by default on devices running the Android operating system. So what has Huawei done? What everyone expected: it has rolled up its sleeves and recreated in no time a space completely dedicated to applications to be installed on its newest devices, making its store debut already a few months later on the highly anticipated Mate 30 Pro, dated September 2019.
Huawei on DAZN: how it works
The process is simple and is common to every type of device equipped with Huawei Mobile Service. Once downloaded from AppGallery, the DAZN app is ready to use. Just login with your credentials or proceed to activate your subscription, on a monthly or annual basis from September 2020, to view all the content and enjoy hours of sports from around the world.
DAZN on Huawei: compatible devices
The DAZN operation on Huawei started in June 2020, with the first version of the app available for smartphones equipped with GMS, including P30 Pro new edition, P Smart Pro and P Smart 2020. With the new version, however, smartphones from the P40 family and the latest generation tablets, MatePad T10 and MatePad T10 S, will also have the opportunity to take advantage of the platform's content without limitations of any kind.
Huawei and DAZN: an agreement that puts everyone in agreement
The inability to enjoy DAZN content from mobile, particularly the newest launched on the market, had generated not a little discontent among users of the very famous Chinese brand. With this new update, however, the waters may finally calm down, leaving room only for sports.
Isabella Lazzini, Marketing & Retail Director Huawei CBG Italy also commented on the new app, showing full satisfaction with the novelty. "Sport fascinates, unites, creates teams and supporters. For us - said Lazzini - making the DAZN offer available for all Huawei devices means offering to all our users the opportunity to meet, cheer and follow their favorite sports on the move. Meeting the needs of consumers is a priority for us".
