Samsung has removed the veils from Galaxy A52s 5G, slightly revised variant of the existing Galaxy A52 5G that was made official not even six months ago, last March. The two products are almost identical except for the chip, which goes from being the Snapdragon 750G to the Snapdragon 778G.
Nothing that can distort the experience guaranteed by the product on the market since March, mind you, but a step forward in terms of efficiency and graphics performance. In short, with the presentation of Galaxy A52s 5G the current model does not suddenly become obsolete, indeed it remains a decidedly current and valid product, especially if at a good price, while those who already own it have no reason to switch to the variant just presented. Instead, those who are called to decide which to buy between the two may prefer Galaxy A52s 5G if they often find themselves playing games from the smartphone or if they simply make a very intense use of the smartphone: with the same battery, a more efficient chip can make a difference at the end of the day.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has the recent Snapdragon 778G, octa core chip made at 6 nanometers with a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz and Adreno 642L GPU. More than enough memory for many: 6 or 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage, or the 8+256 GB configuration, with the storage space being expandable thanks to support for microSD cards up to 1 TB.
The display of Galaxy A52s 5G is a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O with Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate that integrates the 32-megapixel selfie camera arranged in a hole. On the opposite surface are the remaining cameras, which are four: the 64-megapixel wide-angle with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), the 12 MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle, and two 5 MP each f/2.4 for macro and depth-of-field detection.
You can tell from the name that Samsung's newborn supports 5G networks, but also Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2 with A2DP and LE, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, NFC, USB-C and there's even a 3.5mm audio jack input. New, compared to its predecessor, even the modem: the Snapdragon X53 5G reaches a speed (theoretical) of 3.3 Gbps.
The system speakers are stereo with Dolby Atmos, while the fingerprint reader is integrated under the screen. Galaxy A52s 5G is an IP67-certified smartphone for water and dust resistance, that is, against immersion to a depth of one meter (in fresh water) for half an hour.
The battery is 4,500 mAh with support for 25-watt wired fast charging. Dimensions are 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4 mm, weight is 189 grams. Samsung Galaxy A52 arrives in four colors, all "Awesome", fantastic: black, white, light green and lavender.

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has not yet been announced for Italy, but there are few doubts that it will be sold in our country by the end of August. In the UK the price has risen by 10 pounds, from us it could cost 499 euros list price.
