La nuova gamma di laptop Samsung sfida gli Apple MacBook Air e i Microsoft Surface 4 con tanta potenza, leggerezza e versatilità.
Samsung rinnova la gamma dei laptop ultraleggeri con i nuovi Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Pro e Galaxy Book Pro 360, risposta coreana ad Apple MacBook Air e a Microsoft Surface 4. I nuovi portatili di Samsung sono “i Galaxy più potenti di sempre“, grazie all’adozione della piattaforma Intel Evo e alle CPU Intel Core (i3, i5 e i7) di undicesima generazione.
A questi modelli, disponibili nelle versioni da 13,3 e 15,6 pollici (solo 15,6 pollici per il Galaxy Book normale), Samsung aggiunge anche il Galaxy Book Odyssey, che al momento non è in vendita in Italia ed è più focalizzato sul gaming di alto livello. The new Galaxy Book are equipped with LCD screen, AMOLED or Super AMOLED, Dolby Atmos audio (signed AKG on the top models) and represent the ultimate expression of the Intel platform for laptops, the best that can be opposed to the platform M1 Apple which is spoken a lot of good since it was launched. Lightness, power and autonomy are the watchwords of Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360, less light are the prices, as is logical to expect reading the data sheet of these models.

Samsung Galaxy Book is the access model of the new range of laptops Samsung. It is available only with a 15.6-inch screen and TFT LCD technology, with Full HD resolution (1,920×1,080 pixels). It weighs 1.55 kilograms and offers a microSD slot, two USB 3.2 Type A ports, a headphone/microphone input, an HDMI port, two USB-C.
It is not Intel Evo certified but has the 11th generation Intel Core CPU (i3, i5 or i7). Integrated graphics are Iris X with the two most powerful processors, or Intel UHD with the i3. Optionally you can ask for an external video card Nvidia Geforce MX450.
Ram memory varies from 4 to 16 GB, internal storage goes up to 1 TB. Good connectivity, with 4G modem and Wi-Fi 6, the webcam is an HD 720p.
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro will be available in Italy from mid-May at a starting price of 709 euros and in Mystic Blue and Mystic Silver.

The new Samsung Galaxy Book Pro is an ultralight from just 870 grams, in the 13-inch version, or 1,050 grams, in the 15-inch version. In such a low weight Samsung managed to fit a microSD slot, a USB 3.2 Type A port, a headphone/microphone input, an HDMI port, a USB-C port and a USB-C/Thunderbolt port. Difficult, with these dimensions and weight, to find who does better.
This laptop also offers a 4G connection and a Wi-Fi 6e, of a built-in webcam with HD 720p resolution, AKG speakers and Full HD AMOLED screen (1,920×1,080 pixels).
The CPU is the eleventh generation Intel Core, a choice of i3, i5 or i7 and the graphics on the basic models is the Intel Iris X (on models with i5 or i7, otherwise it is the previous generation Intel UHD). Only on the 15-inch model you can choose the external video card GeForce MX450. RAM memory is 8, 16 or 32 GB, while the maximum storage is 1 TB.
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro will be available in Italy from mid-May at a starting price of 1,159 euros and in the colors Mystic Blue and Mystic Silver. Those who buy it by May 13 receive a free pair of headphones Galaxy Buds Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360: features and prices
The Galaxy Book Pro 360 is the new ultralight laptop from Samsung devoted to mobility and with integrated stylus. The weight stops at 1.1 kilos for the 13-inch and 1.39 kilos for the 15-inch.
The technical features are almost identical to those of the Galaxy Pro, except for the touch screen for the stylus, the possibility of having the 5G modem and the impossibility of choosing it with GeForce graphics card. The thickness is record-breaking: 11.5 millimeters, practically as thick as a smartphone.
Galaxy Book Pro 360 is available now at a starting price of 1,399 euros, in Mystic Silver and Mystic Navy colors. The 5G modem variant will be available from August.
