Nest offers several solutions to make your home safer and smarter. The cameras connect to the home's Wi-Fi network and allow the user to check on their smartphone if any burglars have broken into the house. On the other hand, the thermostat offers the ability to remotely set the temperature of the heating system and the time the radiators are turned on so that the house is warm when you get home from work. Nest has decided to expand its business and from today, in addition to Italy, is also available in Germany, Austria and Spain.

The U.S. company had not expanded its borders for over two years. Until now, its products were officially sold in only seven countries, although, thanks to e-commerce sites, you can find the smart cameras in more than 190 countries. "This expansion brings us closer to achieving our goal of helping people around the world save energy and providing them with protection and security in their homes," said Matt Rogers, co-founder and chief product officer at Nest. The Italian market for smart home devices is certainly growing, and Nest has jumped at the opportunity to land in Europe.
