To personalize messages on WhatsApp you need to know some very simple tricks. Here's what they are and how to make your WhatsApp unique
Many people use WhatsApp for its essential functions: sending messages for free, sharing images and videos, making calls and video calls with their friends scattered around the world. However, few people are aware of some tricks that allow them to make the most of the messaging app's features.
WhatsApp is one of the most used apps and hides some secrets that few people know about. For example, you can customize your chats by changing the background or using special characters. Warning, we are not saying to use alternative apps to WhatsApp (illegal practice that can lead to the cancellation of your account) that allow you to change the font and font size, but only to use legal tricks. Personalizing WhatsApp chats really takes only a few minutes and will make conversations with our friends much less boring. Here's how to do it.
How to change the background of WhatsApp conversations
The first simple trick to customize WhatsApp chats is to change the background. Every conversation has a common background: a yellow-colored panel with some gray emoji. WhatsApp allows users to change the background of each conversation. To do so, you have to access the chat, press on the icon with three vertical dots and select the item "Background". An overlay menu will appear with several options to choose from: Gallery (with the possibility of choosing any image on the smartphone's memory), Solid Colors, Backgrounds Library (offered by WhatsApp and that can be downloaded), Default and No Background.
Once you choose your favorite background, it will be set by default within the WhatsApp chat. If we would like to change it, you will have to follow the same procedure.
How to customize WhatsApp conversations
Do you want to spice up your WhatsApp messages? You can do it by using Italic, Bold or Monospaced writing mode.
These are three modes present by default on the application and can be used in a matter of seconds. To change the font of the message, just highlight the text and a menu with different options will appear on the screen. Clicking the three vertical dots will open a list with all the options with which you can customize the message: Italic, Bold and Monospaced. Selecting one of the three will give more emphasis to a word or phrase.
