New features coming with the latest update of WhatsApp on which the developers of the messaging app are working. According to rumors from WABetaInfo, catalogs for business accounts and most importantly a new button for making voice and video calls are on the way.
The expert leak site on WhatsApp analyzed the Beta version number 2.20.200.3 for Android and discovered new features that are still under development. Novelties are definitely coming for Business accounts, which will be able to associate the catalog of any marketed products to the popular chat as well. For all users, however, expect new features both in the area of calls and video calls, as well as for customization thanks to the arrival of WhatsApp Doodles, a kind of decorations for the background of the messaging app.
WhatsApp Business, catalogs arrive
We start with WhatsApp Business accounts, which find more and more features to use for their business. Now this type of WhatsApp account will be able to associate the catalog directly to the chat, so that customers can view it immediately and see the products on sale. To access the catalog, opening the chat of the business account, just select the option in the top bar on the right side of the app screen.
WhatsApp, single button for calls
New features coming also for WhatsApp voice and video calls, with the development of a new interface that changes the organization of the call menu and inserts a new button to choose between voice and video. The new "Call" button will initially be available only for corporate chats, but then it could be extended to all users.
Finally, new customizations of the messaging app arrive, with the introduction of Doodles, which are a kind of decorations that the user can superimpose on the bottom screen of his chat. The new feature was not found in the Beta version under analysis, but only in the code of the app and therefore it is not yet visible, although some time ago the "Add Doodle" option had appeared in the code of the app for Apple's iOS operating systems.

At the moment the version that was told by the WABetaInfo site has not yet been officially released, but it is only a Beta version. This implies that only developers can for now access these new features and all users who join the official beta testing program. For this reason, it is not possible to determine a possible release date for the Beta 2.20.200.3 version for Android.
