A new top of the range with a super camera is coming among Android smartphones: it's the Xiaomi Mi 10S
Among the top of the range smartphones is expected soon the arrival of an Android device: Xiaomi Mi 10S. The Chinese company, in fact, seems not to want to abandon one of its latest smartphone ranges and wants to continue producing new devices. Initially, Xiaomi executives had assured that they would no longer produce smartphones under the Mi 10 name, but it doesn't look like that will be the case.
For some time now, several rumors have indicated the arrival of a new top-of-the-line Xiaomi, often pointing to a Mi 10 Ultra as the possible candidate. But the Mi 10 Ultra will likely take the name Mi 10S, reviving an old Xiaomi smartphone nomenclature that had been lost in recent years. As in Xiaomi's best habits, the Mi 10S will be a top-of-the-line smartphone with high specs, starting with the likely presence of the Snapdragon 865 chipset and 8GB of RAM. But the real highlight of the smartphone will be the photographic compartment: there should be a camera of at least 100 Megapixels.
Xiaomi Mi 10S, the features
According to leaked rumors, Xiaomi Mi 10S would be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Very interesting is also the screen, which should have a diagonal of at least 7 inches, although it seems to be a bit 'too exaggerated.
The real queen, however, is the rear camera, which would have a main sensor of 100 megapixels with to support a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens with digital zoom up to 120x. On the front, there could also be two lenses instead of one.
Battery of at least 5000mAh with support for 100W fast charging
Xiaomi Mi 10S or Mi 10 Ultra? Doubts
Although rumors of the return of the Mi 10S are becoming more and more insistent, some believe that in fact the leaked features on the new top-of-the-line smartphone belong to another Xiaomi model, namely the Mi 10 Ultra. After all, the Chinese company had already surprised everyone last March when it launched the Mi 10 series on the market, which no one expected, even in three models: Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Lite 5G.
This implies that Xiaomi could decide to complete the series with the Mi 10 Ultra, or return to surprise its loyal customers with a phone from the S series that has not been seen in circulation for years. To know which of the two smartphones it actually is, we will have to wait for the Chinese company to clarify and the new model could be launched on the market as early as the end of 2020.
