Confirms arrive on the fact that the price of the new iPhone 12 will be identical to that of last year: here's how much it will cost
The launch of the iPhone 12 is getting closer and closer: Apple is preparing the presentation event that, as has happened for several years now, will be held in the first half of September (probably between 8 and 15 of the month). As for the launch on the market, however, we now know very well that you have to wait until the end of October and that the output will be divided into two tranches: first the iPhone 12 models and then the iPhone 12 Pro.
If the presentation is getting closer and closer, it is normal that increase rumors about the price of the iPhone 12 and make comparisons with last year's model. And for lovers of the Apple Phone there is good news: most of the rumors agree that the price of the new iPhone will be very similar, if not identical to that of last year. Apple seems to have convinced itself not to increase the prices of the smartphone, also given the difficult period that many families are experiencing. The iPhone 12 will be a much more powerful smartphone than last year's, but with an identical price.
How much will the iPhone 12 cost in Italy
Rumors from overseas set the starting price of the iPhone 12 at $699, the same price as last year's iPhone 11. With one important difference: the iPhone 11 has a 6.1-inch screen, while the iPhone 12 will have a 5.4-inch display. This year, in fact, Apple plans to launch as many as four devices: in addition to the iPhone 12, there will be the iPhone 12 Max with a 6.1-inch screen, the iPhone 12 Pro with a 6.1-inch display, but with four rear cameras, and finally the iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch panel. The price of the top-of-the-line version is expected to be around $1449, the same price as the iPhone 11 Pro Max.
How do these prices translate to Italy? Very simple, the iPhone 12 will start with the same list price as the iPhone 11, that is 839 euros for the 64GB version. And then it will go up slowly until you get to almost 1700 euros of the Pro Max version with 512GB of internal memory.
iPhone 12, top performance at the same price
Apple seems to have changed strategy for its new iPhone 12. Despite more power, guaranteed by the presence of the new chipset A14 Bionic and support for 5G, the prices will remain essentially identical to last year. The credit is also due to some new cheaper components used to make the smartphone, such as the batteries. In addition, in the package of the new iPhone 12 there should be no headphones or charger, a further saving for Apple.
When will the iPhone 12 come out
After the confirmation that came directly from Apple, there are no more doubts about the fact that the iPhone 12 will arrive on the market later than usual.
The most likely hypothesis is that the iPhone 12 will be released at the end of October, while the Pro version will have to wait until November. To know the exact dates, however, we will have to wait for the official presentation in mid-September.
