The Galaxy S10+ appears on Geekbench and shows features worthy of a computer: Exynos 9820 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage
The Samsung Galaxy S10+, one of the five variants of the Galaxy S10 expected on February 20, has appeared on Geekbench, a platform for benchmarks, showing all the main features. For those who don't know, benchmark platforms are used by smartphone manufacturers to test the performance of the device before the official release on the market.
In addition to the results obtained by the Galaxy S10+, Geekbench has also published the characteristics of the device. There are few new features compared to what has already been said in recent weeks: the Galaxy S10+ will have the Exynos 9820 processor, 6GB of RAM (but it could be 8GB) and 128GB of internal storage. For its top of the line Samsung has chosen the best components on the market, starting with the Exynos 9820 SoC that has performance very similar to the new Snapdragon 855. The benchmark does not provide useful information for the photographic compartment, but again the rumors of the previous weeks help to get a clear idea: the Galaxy S10+ will have three rear cameras and two front ones.
Galaxy S10+: the features
The Galaxy S10+ will have an Exynos 9820 chipset without 5G support. Samsung's 5G smartphone will be the Galaxy S10 X, with the X celebrating ten years of the Galaxy S family. The device will still have a top technical card: in addition to the Exynos 9820 processor we will find 6-8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Features similar to those of any high-end computer. The screen will be 6.4 inches with QuadHD+ resolution and slightly curved edges.
As for the design of the smartphone, Samsung opted to include a hole in the upper right corner where the two front cameras will be placed. Compared to the Galaxy S9, the bezels are thinner.
Galaxy S10+: photo compartment
There will be as many as five cameras that we will find on the Galaxy S10+. At the back, there will be a triple camera, with a 48-megapixel main sensor and secondary sensor with 5X zoom. The third will be a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor and will be used to calculate the depth of field and improve image quality. The front cameras will be 24 Megapixel and 16 Megapixel.
Galaxy S10+, the smartphone with infinite battery
The device will not have the 5G router, but will only support 4G connection. Battery of 4,000 mAh that allows you to get through the day without too much trouble.
Galaxy S10+, price and release date
The smartphone will be presented along with the entire new family of Galaxy S10 on February 20 in San Francisco. The arrival on the market is scheduled for the first week of March. The Galaxy S10+ is expected to be priced above 1000 euros.
