The Chinese manufacturer launches the first smartphone with 108-megapixel sensor and telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom. It will cost 600 euros and will be available from 15/11
It will also arrive in Italy in a few days, on November 15, the brand new Mi Note 10 by Xiaomi. That is, the first smarphone for the general public equipped with a 108 MP camera. Xiaomi has made this lens in collaboration with Samsung, and is the first to use it on a product not "concept".
This is the same smartphone that is already sold in China under the name of CC9 Pro, from which it differs (significantly) only for the selling price. Much higher. But then again, the technical features of the Mi Note 10 are high-end (top, as far as the photographic compartment) and we know that Chinese products rise sharply when they leave the native place, due to transportation costs and, above all, taxes. But the Mi Note 10 makes up for it thanks not only to the fact that the main camera is 108 MP, but also because of cameras in total there are even 5, in addition to the front one for selfies.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10: technical specifications
Xiaomi's Mi Note 10 is a big, heavy, and powerful device. It has a 1,080×2,340-pixel AMOLED FHD+ display, with brightness of an impressive 600 nits and protected by curved, wrap-around Gorilla Glass 5. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC with Adreno 618 GPU and has 6 or 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, while the available memory sizes are 128 or 256 GB (UFS 2.1 in both cases). The version with 8/256 GB will be called Mi Note 10 Pro. It has 4G LTE-only connectivity, dual SIM, and not 5G as well, and a 5,260 mAh battery that charges at 30 watts. The operating system is Android 9 Pie, with Miui 11 interface. The dimensions are 157x74x9.6 mm and the weight is 208 grams.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10: the 6 cameras
The photo department is the calling card of the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. At the front we find a 32 MP f/2 camera.0 for selfies, while at the rear there are 5 lenses. The main one is the 108 MP Samsung HMX with f/1.69 aperture, with dual LED flash, which takes 27 MP photos through an interpolation of 4 pixels in 1. Then there are two telephoto lenses: the first 2X, 12 MP f/2.0, the second 5X, 5 MP f/2.0 with optical stabilizer. This is followed by a 20 MP f/2.0 wide-angle lens and, finally, a 2 MP f/2.0 macro lens that focuses from 2 to 10 cm away. Through the camera app you can choose which lens to shoot with, otherwise the artificial intelligence independently chooses the best solution.
