There are just a few days to the arrival on the market of the new Chinese top of the range: Xiaomi Mi 11 will be marketed in less than seven days.
Good news for Xiaomi fans: after the debut in the land of China, finally was announced officially the global launch date of Xiaomi Mi 11. To get your hands on the new smartphone you'll have to wait just a few days, namely February 8, along with other interesting news about the company's products.
The highly anticipated Xiaomi smartphone debuted on the Chinese market on January 28 and, just over a week later, it will be the turn of its first step in the rest of the world. Abundantly anticipated by the enthusiastic opinions of its first users, who have compared the device to its predecessor Mi 10 Ultra (but there is already talk of a possible Mi 11 Ultra), this new model is classified as a tasty addition to the proposals launched on the market in recent years by the manufacturer. Certainly, at least for now, it has been a success at home, where in the pre-order phase has reached a number of requests for more than 850 thousand units only on the ecommerce site JD.com. And in the rest of the world? Will Mi 11 be able to repeat its record outside the national borders as well?
Xiaomi Mi 11, the features of the global version
No notable changes are expected for the global version of Xiaomi Mi 11 compared to the one launched in China. Like its counterpart, the smartphone will have at its disposal the powerful processor from Qualcomm, namely Snapdragon 888, which has generated so much interest among audiences around the world for its flagship features.
In addition to the SoC, then, to make the difference is the QuadHD+ (2K) Amoled screen, with 120Hz refresh rate, for a sharp image and brilliant colors in any situation. Another fancy detail is the camera: also in this case Xiaomi wanted to re-propose the pleasant configuration put in the field for the Chinese version, that is with 108MP main sensor.
Last but not least is the battery, with support for fast charging at 55W; the accumulator will count on a capacity of 4,600 mAh. As an interface, however, the choice has fallen directly on the brand new MIUI 12.5. The only concrete doubt, at the moment, remains the price: we will have to wait until February 8 for confirmations of the case, although the figure circulating on the network would seem to be around 800 euros.
Xiaomi Mi 11, the other news coming
During the digital event to be held on February 8, for Italy at 11 am, in addition to the global version of the flagship Xiaomi will also be presented other interesting news for the Chinese company. In fact, it is expected the announcement of the aforementioned new MIUI, which will reach the release 12.5. A small step forward, then, compared to the 13 whose arrival is scheduled for next summer.
The updated version of the interface, already available for download as a beta, always uses the Android 11 operating system, although it has been enriched with new features that are added to those already present. Above all, to stand out is the feature called MIUI+, which is an interesting feature that allows you to use all phones that will support the release - 27 models including some Redmi brand, according to official data - directly from Windows computers, from app management up to the receipt of notifications.
To this, then, is also the hope by fans of the brand, as well as experts in the field, to have some more information on what should be the brothers of the smartphone on the way. In fact, there has been a lot of talk in recent days about what should be the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Lite models, but, to date, nothing has leaked from the Beijing headquarters about them, neither confirming nor - and this is a good sign - denying the rumors.
