The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT could be the first smartphone to feature the Prancing Horse branding on the back. Top features and super-fast
Ferrari is ready to take to the track in the smartphone world as well and follow the example of Lamborghini, Porsche and McLaren. The next top-of-the-line smartphone Lenovo Z5 Pro GT should have a special version dedicated to Prancing Horse fans, with red finish and Ferrari logo placed in the back cover.
For now there is nothing official, but the Lenovo CEO has posted on his Weibo account (the most used social network in China) an image of the smartphone with the Ferrari logo, accompanied by a cap of the Scuderia di Maranello and with a message of encouragement for Michael Schumacher. The post also refers to 2019, a possible launch date for the smartphone. The chances that the phone will be launched are very high, as Lenovo is one of Ferrari's historical partners and is also present with the logo on the bodywork of Formula 1 racing cars.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT features
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT was unveiled at an event in China on the morning of December 18. It is a top-of-the-line smartphone with unique features. On board we find the new Snapdragon 855 chipset, processor that on European smartphones will arrive only in 2019, supported by as much as 6-8-12GB of RAM (first phone to mount this amount of RAM) and 128-256-512GB of internal memory. Another peculiarity of the device is the design: the screen occupies over 95% of the front thanks to the two front-facing retractable cameras (like the early 2000s phones). The back has a "carbon look" finish, while the Ferrari version also features the logo of the Maranello stable.
The display is 6.39 inches with FullHD+ resolution and 19:9 image ratio. The photo compartment consists of a dual rear camera (16 Megapixel main sensor, 24 Megapixel secondary sensor) and a dual front camera (16 and 8 Megapixel sensors). To improve the quality of images is also present artificial intelligence, "accessory" now essential in any top-of-the-line device. The smartphone mounts Android Oreo 8.1 and has a 3350mAh battery.
The fastest smartphone in the world (so far)
A smartphone branded Ferrari could only be the fastest in the world. According to the tests carried out on Antutu, a platform dedicated to smartphone benchmarking, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT scored the highest score ever so far, surpassing even the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Il merito è del nuovo chipset Snapdragon 855 che promette grandi prestazioni e un consumo minore della batteria.
