To use the same WhatsApp account on two different smartphones you need to use some tricks or ad hoc apps: here's how to do it
One of the features that distinguishes WhatsApp from all other messaging apps is the impossibility of using the same account on another profile. As you know, to register on WhatsApp you must indicate the phone number to which to link the profile. If we decide to insert the SIM card on another smartphone and install the messaging application, on the main device will immediately disconnect from WhatsApp.
If you are wondering if there is a way to overcome this limitation, the answer is yes.
You must, however, use some simple trick or applications present on the Google Play Store and App Store. The easiest way is to use WhatsApp Web, the online version of the messaging application that you can reach from your browser. Most users use it from their personal or work computers, but in reality WhatsApp Web can also be reached from smartphones: all you have to do is set the browser to the "desktop" version. Here's how to use WhatsApp on two smartphones at the same time.
How to use WhatsApp on two Android smartphones at the same time
The WhatsApp profile is inextricably linked to the phone number: you can only use it on the smartphone where the SIM card is present. And you cannot use the same WhatsApp account on two smartphones at the same time. Unless you use a simple trick: launch WhatsApp Web from the browser of the second device.
The process is very simple. On the second smartphone, open the browser and enter the URL of WhatsApp Web, using the "Desktop Mode". At this point you have to take the smartphone where WhatsApp is associated, launch the application, press on the icon with three vertical dots in the upper right corner and click on WhatsApp Web. Frame with the camera the QR Code present on the second cell phone and your WhatsApp chats will magically appear on the screen. The only problem is that the user experience is very similar to that of WhatsApp Web on the computer: the message text is very small, but you can enlarge it using pinch to zoom. If this system seems too complicated, you can use an alternative: download an application from the Google Play Store. There are a few apps on Google's online store that emulate WhatsApp Web and allow you to use the same WhatsApp account on two devices at the same time. One of the most reliable is WhatsWeb Web Lite, which can be downloaded for free. The operation is very simple: you install the application on the second device and frame the QR Code from your main smartphone's camera. In a few seconds you can use your WhatsApp account on two devices at the same time.
How to use WhatsApp on two iPhones at the same time
If you have two iPhones and want to use the same WhatsApp profile, the only option is to use WhatsApp Web. The procedure is identical to the one we have just seen: on the "secondary" iPhone, launch Safari and open WhatsApp Web. On the iPhone where the SIM card is inserted, however, open the Settings of WhatsApp and click on WhatsApp Web. Now frame the QR Code with the camera of the main iPhone and your WhatsApp chats will appear on the second device.
