Chinese smartphones with similar performance have lower prices, but Samsung is a guarantee of quality when it comes to cameras, screen and service.
Samsung Galaxy A52 promises to be an excellent mid-range smartphone for those who prefer to rely on the Korean brand and accept to pay a little more than a Chinese device: the new mid-range device is now coming with a good price/features ratio.
It will be available in two versions: one 4G LTE and the other 5G. What will make the difference, besides compatibility with one network or the other, will be the SoC and, of course, the price. Probably the 5G model will arrive on the market a little later, while for the standard Galaxy A52 you will not have to wait beyond the end of March. So here are the technical characteristics, not yet fully confirmed but almost certain, of Samsung Galaxy A52 and Samsung Galaxy A52 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A52: features and price
The new Samsung Galaxy A52 will be a device with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen, with maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz and FHD+ resolution. The display will be Infinity-O type (i.e. with a small notch hole in the top center) with an integrated fingerprint sensor.
The processor should be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, last year's mid-range SoC with a great performance-to-power consumption ratio, but without 5G. RAM will be 6/8 GB, storage will be 128/256 GB.
The rear cameras will be four, of excellent quality: 64 MP main sensor, 12 MP ultra-wide angle, 5 MP macro and 5 MP depth sensor. With such a photo compartment it will be possible to get good shots in almost any situation. For selfies, however, there is the front 32 MP.
The battery, finally, will be 4,500 mAh with fast charging (but not very fast) 24 Watts. The price of Samsung Galaxy A52 will start from about 330-350 euros.
Samsung Galaxy A52 5G: features and price
The arrival of Samsung Galaxy A52 in 5G version is expected a few weeks compared to the LTE version of the same smartphone, but we still talk about spring 2021.
The only real difference between the two devices is that the Galaxy A52 5G will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, which is slightly more powerful than the 720G (a gain of about 15%, while consuming less power).
The Snapdragon 750G SoC integrates the 5G modem, allowing connection to the fast network. The price, however, goes up a few tens of euros: Samsung Galaxy A52 5G will cost about 390 euros.
