Samsung is ready to launch its two new mid-range smartphones: the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72. The Awesome event is set for next March 17
It's just a few days until the "Galaxy Awesome" event where Samsung should finally unveil the new smartphones of the Galaxy A52 and A72 line. In recent weeks, the mid-range models have been the focus of many leaks on the network, through which some interesting technical features have been revealed in anticipation of the official debut.
The presentation event organized by Samsung has been placed on the calendar for next March 17, at 16 in Italy. There is therefore only one week left to be able to touch with your hands - or rather virtually - the two new proposals of the Galaxy A series that characterizes the proposals of the medium-sized South Korean company. However, if they were to be confirmed some of the many rumors that have anticipated on the web their arrival, Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 could have on their side some tasty features that would make them two strong competitors in the price range of belonging.
Samsung Galaxy A52, likely technical characteristics
To provide the most details about Samsung Galaxy A52 was a hands-on video spread on YouTube by Moboaesthetics. Two configurations are expected to end up on the market: 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, followed by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Powering the whole thing, governed by Android 11, is a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
A highlight is then the 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and integrated fingerprint reader. Instead - should it be confirmed - the LTE version of the same model should stop at a refresh rate of 90Hz, while replicating the type of display.
Last information are those related to the camera. If confirmed by the event, Galaxy A52 should count on a 32MP front camera, accompanied by a quad module on the back equipped with a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two sensors, depth and macro, both 5MP.
Samsung Galaxy A72, probable technical specifications
The choices for the Samsung Galaxy A72 should, instead, include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC, with configurations that include a 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB memory cuts, the latter expandable through a microSD card slot on the device. Power, on the other hand, would be provided by a 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging.
According to leaks, compared to the Galaxy A52, the A72 integrates a slightly larger 6.7-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate and notch for the 32MP front camera. Similar instead the rear camera module: four sensors, with 64MP primary, 12MP ultra-wide angle lens, 8MP telephoto and 2MP macro sensor.
To complete the list of likely features, IP67 rating, presence of the slot for the 3.5mm mini jack connector dedicated to wired headphones and Android 11 operating system.
