Windows 10, iCloud bug fixed with update

Apple has released a new iCloud version for Windows 10 that eliminates the service's previous incompatibilities with Microsoft's October 2018 version

Apple has updated its iCloud version for Windows 10 to version 7.8.1. An update that became necessary after the Windows 10 October Update, which was previously withdrawn because it deleted files without warning, made it impossible to use iCloud on PCs running Microsoft's operating system.

The iCloud version experiencing incompatibility issues with the Windows 10 October 2018 Update is the 7.7.0.27. Microsoft sincerely hopes that with the newly released version, the problems that have arisen so far will start to subside. The October 2018 Update, as mentioned, was already blocked a few days after the official release due to a bug that deleted files and, as soon as it was put back into circulation, it gave new problems and disservices with zipper files and in the File Explorer section. In the same days in which the problem with iCloud occurred, several Intel users complained of problems due to an incompatibility between the update and graphics accelerator drivers.

New iCloud for Windows 10

Apple has made it known that, in order not to have further problems in using iCloud with Windows 10, you need to have Outlook 2007 or later versions, Internet Explorer 10 or later, Firefox 30 or later and finally Google Chrome 28 or later. Those who want to can download the latest version 7.8.1 of iCloud by visiting Apple's own support website. On the other hand, those who try to install the previous version of iCloud, the 7.7.0.27, will see a message informing them that the software is incompatible with the current version of Windows 10. Needless to say, in the iCloud 7.8.1 version, the bug that limited the synchronization of shared albums by users has been completely fixed.
