Asus ha fissato per il 26 agosto la presentazione dei nuovi smartphone top di gamma 2020 Zenfone 7 e Zenfone 7 Pro: ecco le probabili caratteristiche e prezzo
Dopo il ROG Phone 3 lanciato a inizio estate, ora Asus prepara il lancio del suo smartphone top di gamma 2020: lo Zenfone 7, che arriverà anche in versione Pro. Sarà un dispositivo dalle alte prestazioni ma dal prezzo contenuto e, come ha ufficializzato la stessa Asus, verrà presentato il 26 agosto.
Pochissime le informazioni su questo telefono, parecchie le ipotesi: in molti pensano che la versione normale sarà dotata del SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, mentre la Pro avrà lo Snapdragon 865+ (che è quasi identico, ma ha una frequenza di clock superiore). Per quanto riguarda la fotocamera, invece, la stessa Asus in un teaser video ha confermato il ritorno della fotocamera “flip“. Dal sito di benchmarking Geekbench, però, sono appena arrivate delle informazioni che gettano un po’ di confusione su ciò che fino ad oggi si è detto in merito ad Asus Zenfone 7 e Asus Zenfone 7 Pro. Sul sito è infatti apparso il test di un nuovo dispositivo Asus, identificato come “ASUS_I002D“, che sembra avere caratteristiche a cavallo tra lo Zenfone 7 e lo Zenfone 7 Pro.
Asus Zenfone 7 e 7 Pro: le ipotesi attuali
Al momento tutti danno per scontato che, come la maggior parte degli smartphone top di gamma del 2020, anche lo Zenfone 7 sia basato sui SoC Snapdragon 865 e, come tutte le versioni “Pro" o “Plus" e simili, 865+. Ci si aspetta inoltre che la versione standard abbia 8 GB di RAM, mentre la Pro sia dotata di 12 GB di RAM. Nessuna ipotesi realistica, invece, sul dimensioni e tecnologia dello schermo e sulle altre caratteristiche tecniche.
ASUS_I002D: è il nuovo Zenfone 2020?
A questo punto entra in gioco il dispositivo testato su Geekbench. It is a smartphone with a 3.09 GHz clocked SoC and 8 GB of RAM. That is, the clock of the Snapdragon 865+ that is supposed to equip the Zenfone 7 Pro, but the RAM that is supposed to be mounted on the regular Zenfone 7.
Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro: the prices
As for the prices of the two new top-of-the-line 2020 smartphones from Asus, finally, the latest indiscretion is that of Roland Quandt of WinFuture. The journalist, indirectly, also confirms that the Pro version will only have 8 GB of RAM while the standard one will have 6 GB, but speculates that both models will have the Snapdragon 865+.
Both devices will feature a big 5,000 mAh battery. According to Quandt, the 6/128 GB version will be priced at 499 euros, while the 8/256 GB version will cost 549 euros. We'll just have to wait a few days, though, to find out how the new Asus Zenfone 7 will look like.
