Asus is preparing to launch a new top of the range smartphone: here are the features of Asus Zenfone 7
A top of the range smartphone with a mini price: Asus Zenfone 7 will be presented on Wednesday, August 26 during a streaming event. Now that the launch is approaching, more and more features are unveiled and finds confirmation the possibility of a standard version and a Pro version of Zenfone 7.
The latest rumors come from the images unveiled on the internet, which show a 6.67-inch FullHD+ screen, then from the diagonal larger than the 6.4-inch until now speculated. On the site Geekbench the smartphone appeared with the name ASUS_I002D, equipped with a Snapdragon processor that also supports 5G connection technology. A code that could indicate both Asus Zenfone 7 in its standard version, as well as the device in the Pro or Plus version that will have slightly better features to the base model.
Asus Zenfone 7: features
The screen of the new top of the range of Asus will not be 6.4 inches, but will have a 6.67-inch FullHD+ display. The processor will be a 2.84 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 865, flanked by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage for the Pro version. For the standard version, however, you could have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
In addition to 5G connection support, it will also support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5. As for the camera, on the back it will have a 64-megapixel main sensor, along with a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The peculiarity of the smartphone is the flip camera, which thanks to a special system rotates 180 degrees and depending on the eventuality can be used both as a front and rear camera. Both in the Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro version, the battery will be 5000 mAh to ensure a long life.
Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro: prices
On the prices of the Asus Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro at the moment there are only rumors. The latest is that of Roland Quandt of WinFuture, according to which the price for the Zenfone 7 version with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory could cost 499 euros. The price of the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, on the other hand, could cost around 549 euros.
