From South Korea come news regarding the release and features of the Galaxy Note 10. Which, this year, should arrive in a double version
Not one but two Samsung Galaxy Note 10 coming: in addition to the long-awaited phablet from the large size, the Korean giant will also present a slightly smaller and reserved for the European market. This second model will be called Samsung Galaxy Note 10e and will be presented along with its big brother in August.
This is what the Korean online newspaper The Bell reports, also adding some technical specifications of the two devices. The Note 10, according to sources cited by The Bell, will be completely button-less: neither the power button, nor those to adjust the volume, nor the one to activate the Bixby assistant will be physically present. The Galaxy Note 10, however, will be controlled by a gesture interface and capacitive buttons that do not protrude from the body of the device.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10e: technical specifications
From the leaked news so far, the Galaxy Note 10 should mount an Exynos 9825 SoC processor with integrated 5G modem and equipped with NPU (Neural Processing Unit, a CPU dedicated expressly to handle artificial intelligence). The performance of this processor, according to Samsung, is seven times higher than that of the Exynos 9810. The RAM should be 6 or 8 GB, while the storage memory could go up to 512 MB thanks to the expansion slot.
As for the camera department, the Note 10 should come to market with 4 rear cameras. If they were to be the same as the S10 5G then they would be accompanied by a Time of Flight (TOF) sensor for focusing even in low light. The display, on the other hand, should be of Infinity-O type, with OLED technology, and have a diagonal of 6.7 inches (Note 10) or 6.4 inches (Note 10e). The overall dimensions of the Note 10, however, should not be very different from those of the previous model thanks to a much thinner frame. As for the S-Pen, however, the latest news reports the possibility that it integrates the front camera, as would suggest a recent patent from Samsung. It could disappear, finally, the headphone jack that would be replaced by a USB-C adapter.
