It is finally official the date on which Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro will be announced, but already now, about the two, we already know quite a lot
No one had many doubts that Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro would be made official last November 22, since it was the same Chinese company to indicate that on that occasion would make an announcement. In the end, however, it was only the date of presentation of the Honor 60 range, which therefore will arrive on Wednesday, December 1.
It is official then that the Honor 60 will be unveiled to the world from China during the first day of December, now just there can be no more doubts. The company has published some "digital flyers" to celebrate the event, and the entire web world has mobilized: some Chinese e commerce portals have already put online the product pages for Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro, revealing for the most part the aesthetic solutions, some live photos have emerged depicting the two Android smartphones, and rumors have anticipated some features. In short, the December event seems almost overflowing.
Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro, how they are made
Although the Honor 50 have been on the market in Europe and Italy for just two weeks, moreover with Google services that Huawei, former owner of Honor, cannot use, the next generation will arrive in China exactly six months after the current one. A short update cycle that evidently gave Honor's designers little leeway to make significant changes to the design of the new smartphones compared to their predecessors.
If you look at the Honor 60 images distributed by the rumors without too much attention, in fact, you can easily mistake it for the current Honor 50. The front surface has remained exactly the same, which is not surprising both because of the barely six months difference between one generation and another, and because by now the screen dominates the scene, so differentiating the front surface for designers is very difficult if not, in some cases, impossible.
For the opposite surface the considerations are identical. Honor 60 can be easily swapped with its predecessor: the camera design is identical, the Honor logo is in place and the only change that jumps out is on the LED flash, moved to the outside of the camera group. What will differ are the effects and light effects created by Honor 60's colorations.
The big brother Honor 60 Pro is a bit more different than its predecessor. On the front surface, in fact, the designers switched from a curved display on the long sides to one curved on all four edges, and it was decided to ditch the dual selfie camera in favor of a single one, which is now placed inside a hole in the middle of the top end of the screen. The Honor 60 Pro's rear surface, however, is also nearly identical to that of the Honor 50 Pro.
Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro, expected specs
On the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro's specs front, there is much less information. Whistleblowers report the use of a Full HD+ screen at 120 Hz, the Snapdragon 778G Plus chip, a 108 MP rear and 50 MP front camera, and finally 66-watt fast charging. In a few days, however, we will know everything.
