The first official images of the OnePlus 7 show a retractable front camera and three rear photo sensors. Coming between May and June
Three months after the presentation, the first official images of the OnePlus 7, the next top of the range of the Chinese company, arrive. And the photos show a completely revolutionized design compared to the last model presented: disappears the notch and the bezels are even thinner. The renderings published online by OnLeaks are made from the anticipations released in recent weeks and should be very similar to how it will really OnePlus 7.
The screen should occupy about 95% of the front surface, with the sensors that disappear under the display. The most important new feature, however, is the front-facing camera. The OnePlus 7 will have the sensor hidden inside the smartphone and that will come out only in time of need. A solution already seen in the recent past on the Vivo Nex. The images also allow us to understand how the back of the smartphone will be. The OnePlus 7 will have a triple camera, standard for top-of-the-line devices of 2019. The battery should be 4000mAh. Absent is the audio jack.
The features of the OnePlus 7
Easy to predict that the OnePlus 7 will be a top-of-the-line smartphone in all respects. On board will definitely be the Snapdragon 855 with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of non-expandable internal storage. The screen will be 6.5 inches with FullHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
Very interesting is the camera compartment. Renderings show a triple rear camera placed vertically. The main sensor should be 48 Megapixels (made by Sony), while the other two lenses will be used for wide-angle and zoom images. The front camera is hidden inside the screen and opens via a mechanical or motorized system only when needed.
The fingerprint sensor will be integrated under the screen, while the front camera will be used for unlocking via face recognition. The battery will be 4000mAh with support for super fast charging. Absent, unfortunately, is the audio jack.
Price and OnePlus 7 release date
The OnePlus 7 is expected to hit the market between late May and early June. For the price, there is still a lot of uncertainty. Carl Pei at Mobile World Congress 2019 assured that the OnePlus 7 will cost much less than $1,000. Hypothetically, the base model will be launched on the 600 euros.
In addition, there should also be a version with 5G support that could be priced around 1000 euros.
