Some leaked images from China reveal the shape of the Huawei P20 Lite: in the front there will be a small notch. Presentation on March 27 in Paris
Among the smartphones that Huawei will present in these early months of 2018, there will also be the Huawei P20 Lite. This is the mid-range model that will flank the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Plus, the two top of the range smartphones that the Chinese company plans to present on March 27 in Paris.
For several years now, the Chinese company has been carrying out this market strategy: for each top of the range, a Lite version is also made. This strategy has led Huawei to become one of the market leaders in the world: the Huawei P8 Lite and P9 Lite are among the best-selling devices in their price range. And the Huawei P20 Lite will continue in this vein: mid-range features that manage to meet the needs of users.The smartphone will be characterized by the presence of the notch in the front of the device, the indentation at the top of the screen that debuted last year on the iPhone X.
The characteristics of the Huawei P20 Lite
The Huawei P20 Lite will feature a rather interesting technical card. According to the latest rumors, the smartphone will mount a Kirin 659 chipset, supported by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The screen will be 5.84 inches with an aspect ratio of 19:9 (FullHD+ resolution of 2280×1080 pixels). Characteristics lower than the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Plus, but still very interesting for a mid-range.
In the back there will be a dual camera placed vertically (a novelty regarding the Lite series of Huawei), with support for the Hybrid Zoom function already present on the Huawei P10, while in the front there will be a small notch where the front camera and sensors for facial recognition will be positioned. In the middle at the back, will also find place the fingerprint reader.
The other information concerns secondary features of the device. The Huawei P20 Lite will have a 3000mAh battery with fast charging, a dual SIM slot (although the second slot can also be used for the microSD card), 3.5mm audio jack and will mount Android 8.0 with the EMUI 8.1 user interface.

The Huawei P20 Lite will be presented in Paris on March 27 in an event that the Chinese company is organizing for the Huawei P20 and the Huawei P20 Plus. The release is scheduled for the first weeks of April. The price will be 369 euros and will be available in black, blue and pink colors.
