1. If you are using a 3rd generation Amazon Echo, it has an action button that you need to hold down for 25 seconds.
2. If, on the other hand, your device is a 2nd generation Echo Dot, press the "Microphone off" and "Volume down" buttons simultaneously to perform the reset.
