Pokémon GO: Raids from home - here's how

If you don't have the opportunity to go to the location where a Pokémon GO Raid is taking place, the alternative is to participate from home. Find out how to get access to the Raids and what other new features are available in Pokémon GO here.

Pokémon GO: How to participate in raids from home

Recently, Pokémon GO has given you the opportunity to participate in raids without leaving home. All you need is a Remote Raid Pass, which you can purchase as a package with a total of three Remote Raid Passes. The package is available in the Pokémon GO in-game store for one Poké coin. However, the list of raids you can participate in remotely is limited to those marked as "Nearby" in the in-game list.

These other new features are available in Pokémon GO

In addition to the ability to participate in raids from home, developer Niantic has added a number of other new features to Pokémon GO.
  1. For example, all players who have a free Field Research location will receive a bonus Field Research task every day at midnight without having to spin a PokéStop. Unlike the field research tasks at PokéStops, the focus of the bonus tasks is on activities that can be performed from anywhere, including from home.
  2. To bring your Pokémon faster to a certain competition level, you can use the amount of candies and stardust needed for this from now on also at once.
  3. In addition, it is now possible to activate multiple items of a kind at the same time and thereby extend their effect. In total, you can activate up to 200 copies of an item together.
