1. You can superscript the number either by keyboard shortcut or by button.
2. If you want to superscript it by keyboard shortcut, you must first select the number.
3. Then hold down the "Ctrl" key and press the plus sign on the keyboard.
4. If you press keyboard shortcut without selecting a character, the superscript will be what you subsequently type.
