Android gallery: create album - here's how

Most Android users use the built-in gallery to manage and view their images. Create an album, increase the overview quite significantly and provide a thematic or temporal structure.

With albums, you keep track of your Android gallery at all times.

In times of WhatsApp and Co., thousands of pictures quickly accumulate on the mobile device. Moreover, since the cameras of top devices convince with first-class quality, the smartphone quickly becomes the primary camera - and these pictures are also stored in the gallery.

Android: How to create an album in the gallery

With your Android, proceed as follows to create a new album in the gallery:

1. Open the gallery app of your Android device.
2. Tap the menu icon with the three dashes in the top right corner.
3. Tap "Create Album" then.
4. Give the album a name and tap "Create".
5. Now you can directly add pictures to the album. Check the checkbox of the images you want to add.
6. When you have selected all the images, tap "Done" in the upper right corner.
7. Now you still have to decide whether you want to move or copy the images to the new album. When copying the image remains in the old location, so it exists twice. When moving, on the other hand, you move the image into the new album.
