Forgotten your Musical.ly password - here's what you can do

On Musical.ly you can create videos and share them with your friends and the whole world. However, if you forgot your password, you won't be able to log in and thus share content. Fortunately, Musical.ly offers a way to recover your password.

With Musical.ly you have the possibility to share videos - similar to how pictures are shared on Instagram. If you have forgotten your password, this can be recovered as follows.

1. Start the app and go to "Sign in". Now go on to "Help logging in". Here you can decide whether you want to reset your password using your email or your phone number.
2. If you choose email, enter your email address in the next step. You will then receive a mail with a link. Click on the link to open it In your browser. You can reset your password on the page that opened.
3. Select phone number (only possible if you have previously entered it in your account), you will receive an SMS with a confirmation code. You enter this in the app to reset your password.
4. Should you have logged in via another account, for example via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you must reset the password of the respective account on the main page. Ein Zurücksetzen über Musical.ly ist dann nicht möglich.
