Exchanging your smartbox - here's how to do it

When you receive your smartbox, you don't know beforehand what its contents will be. If you are unhappy with your gift after opening it, you can exchange it in many cases. However, there are some things to consider when exchanging. In addition, this only works within a time limit.

Exchange Smartbox: This is what matters

Every smartbox can be exchanged, but only within a certain period of time. The boxes have a kind of validity period, which must be observed without fail.

1. When exchanging a Smartbox, it depends primarily on applying for the exchange within the validity period.
2. As long as you stay within the time period, the exchange is possible without any problems and free of charge.
3. After the expiry of six months, you can still exchange the smartbox, but the exchange will cost you 10 euros from this point on.
4. There are also smartboxes that are provided with an unlimited period of validity. In this case, you can exchange the box at any time without cost.
5. When exchanging for a cheaper Smartbox, you get the difference credited.

Exchange Smartbox: How it works

1. To exchange a Smartbox, you must log in or register on the Smartbox website.
2. Klicken Sie in Ihrem Konto auf Meine Gutscheine.
3. Anschließend wählen Sie „Diese Smartbox umtauschen“ und klicken auf „Mit Umtausch fortfahren“.
4. Suchen Sie nun nach der gewünschten Smartbox und klicken Sie auf „Gegen diese Box umtauschen“.
