One of the many features offered by Microsoft Teams is the ability to create meetings and communicate both inside and outside the company. You can also use the tool privately and plan a conference yourself.
How to create a meeting in Microsoft Teams
You can create a meeting in Microsoft Teams with just a few mouse clicks. In the process, you can also make various settings and thus customize your conference. In addition, you have the option to plan a meeting in advance and set it up accordingly.- First, open Microsoft Teams.
- Then switch to the "Calendar function".
- Now select "+New meeting" in the upper right corner.
- A dialog box then appears in which you can make certain settings. In addition, you can also enter information and provide the conference with a title. At the same time, you have the option to specify both the date, a brief description and the location.
- Furthermore, you can enter which participants should be allowed for the conference. You enter these in the field "Required participants". If the participation of certain users is desired, but not necessary, then enter them under "+Optional".
- Have the invited people in addition released their appointment calendar for you, you will immediately see whether they still have free capacity and can participate in the meeting.
- Now just click "Save" and all the participants entered by you will automatically receive a mail with the invitation and see this appointment also in their calendar as well as on Microsoft Teams.
