iPhone: block anonymous calls - Never talk to strangers again
If you want to avoid anonymous calls, you can block them on your iPhone. This will cause callers who don't send their number to not be put through to you in the first place. So you won't hear from anonymous callers and won't be bothered.
To prevent anonymous calls from coming through to you, you can block them on your iPhone. How exactly this works differs between older and newer iOS versions. If you are using a current iOS version, you can block anonymous calls in the settings. To do this, proceed as follows:- Open the settings of your iPhone.
- Now navigate to "Mobile Network > Phone".
- At the very bottom of this menu you will find the option "Mute unknown callers". Tap the slider to block anonymous calls.
Set up call blocking on iPhone from iOS
With some settings you block certain numbers on your iPhone:- Navigate to Settings and "Do Not Disturb" and enable "Manual".
- Tap on "Allow Calls" and select "Contacts" under "Groups".
- Switch back to the overview for "Do Not Disturb" and select "Always" under "Silent" at the bottom.
