Margutta Home, design becomes digital

Margutta Home is a showroom in the center of Rome, where thanks to the vidiwall you can discover the future of interior design and architecture

A hi-tech and innovative place in the center of Rome, where the passion for interior design is combined with the passion for technology. We are talking about Margutta Home, one of the first digital showrooms in Italy that will be open to the public from May 11.

Margutta Home was created to gather all the best international brands in a showroom where design meets technology. In fact, the exhibition is completely virtual: goodbye furniture, chairs and tables, welcome vidiwall and animated objects. The show-room is composed only of hi-tech objects that reproduce the objects present inside Marseglia Home and Marseglia Center, two spaces that measure more than 10 thousand square meters in total located on the border between Lazio, Campania and Molise. Since physical transportation is impossible, it was decided to create a virtual exhibition.

Sensory Experience

It won't be possible to "really" touch chairs and furniture, but thanks to the touchscreen experience the user will be able to interact with the vidiwalls and with all the animated objects present inside Margutta Home. There is also a digital library that will give users the opportunity to browse through design and furniture catalogs. In addition, for the inauguration will be awarded the brand designer Antonio Romano with the first Margutta Home Award, an award that will be given to prominent personalities in the world of design.
