OPPO Find X3 Pro, it’s official: SD 888 and 1 billion colors and premium price

The long-awaited new OPPO Find X3 range has arrived and, with it, also the confirmation that the Chinese brand has become "premium".

After months of rumors OPPO has finally officially presented its new top-of-the-line smartphones 2021: OPPO Find X3 PRo, Find X3 Neo and Find X3 Lite. Along with these three devices comes the certainty that OPPO intends to take the place of Huawei in the market segment of high-end "premium" smartphones.

The price of these three smartphones, especially that of the Pro version, is in fact very high but it must also be said that we are faced with devices with excellent data sheet and that competitors, with the same components, have very similar prices. At least if we talk about the competitors of the Find X3 Pro, which is the only one of the three based on the new platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, has a generous supply of memory and is equipped with a screen with 10-bit color depth, which is equivalent to 1 billion colors viewable by the display.

OPPO Find X3 Pro: features and price

The flagship device of the new range Find X3 by OPPO is Find X3 Pro. It is equipped with SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory and has a 6.7-inch screen with 1440×3216 pixel resolution (for 525 dots per inch, a decidedly high value), 10-bit color and refresh rate up to 120 Hz.

Innovative the photo compartment: at the front there is a 32 MP selfie cam, while at the rear there are four sensors, two of which are the same. These are two Sony IMX766 50 MP: the first is a wide-angle lens with optical stabilizer and F/1.8 aperture, the second is an ultra-wide-angle F/2.2. The third sensor is a 13 MP 2X optical zoom, the last one is a 5 MP macro.

Very interesting is also the battery, 4,500 mAh with 65 Watt charging (wireless at 30 Watt), and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

The starting price of the OPPO Find X3 Pro is 1.149.99 euros, but those who buy it by April 30 also receive a 46-millimeter OPPO Watch, a Kevlar cover and a 45-watt charger.

OPPO Find X3 Neo: features and price

The middle of the new Find X3 family is the Neo, based on Snapdragon 865 platform (the one of the top of the range 2020). It has a 6.55-inch display with 2400×1080 pixel resolution and refresh rate up to 90 Hz, while the memory is 8/128 GB or 12/256 GB.

It has the same selfie cam as its big brother, but behind it things change: always four sensors, but different. The first is the 50 MP IMX766 with F/1.7 aperture with optical stabilizer, the second is a 16 MP F/2.2 wide-angle lens with electoronic stabilizer, the third is a 13 MP F/2.4 5X optical telephoto lens and, finally, the fourth is a 2 MP F2.4 macro lens.

Same battery as the previous model and same charging power, but there's no wireless charging. Water resistance is also missing: the OPPO Find X3 Neo is IPX4 certified.

The starting price of the OPPO Find X3 Neo is €799.99, and those who buy it by April 30 also receive the 41mm OPPO Watch and a pair of OPPO Enco W51 headphones.

OPPO Find X3 Lite: features and price

The smallest of the new OPPO Find X3 family is the Lite, based on Snapdragon 765G platform and 8/128 GB of memory. The display is 6.44 inches, with refresh rate up to 90 Hz and unlike the previous two models does not have Gorilla Glass 5 glass, but only Gorilla Glass 3.

The four rear cameras still change: 64 MP F/1.8 main, 8 MP F/2.2 wide-angle, 2 MP F/2.4 macro and 2 MP black and white depth sensor. None of these lenses have optical stabilization, only electronic.

Slightly drops the battery capacity, to 4,300 mAh, while charging (non-wireless) up to 65 Watts remains. The water and dust resistance certification is IP52.

The starting price of OPPO Find X3 Lite is 499.99 euros, those who buy it before April 30 also receive OPPO Enco X earphones.
