Realme GT Neo2 is the new "almost top" smartphone from Realme that offers a lot of power at a low price: it seems perfect for young people
Realme has presented in China yet another product that could make big numbers on the market because of a quality-price ratio at the top, as per tradition for the Chinese company. Its name is Realme GT Neo2, has not yet arrived in Italy but if it will follow the path of other Realme phones could do so very soon.
Realme GT Neo2 is a smartphone obviously oriented to a young audience, who can not invest much in buying a new smartphone but at the same time is looking for a high performance product, perhaps to play on the move. Realme GT Neo2 seems to respond perfectly to this type of needs: it's powerful, it has a lot of memory, two of the three colors are clearly designed for a "sparkling" audience and above all it costs little, in relation to what it offers. In addition, there is a display that seems to promise well in terms of quality and a very large battery. The formula of Realme GT Neo2 seems to be the right one.
Realme GT Neo2, how it is made
Realme GT Neo2 has a screen that comes from the factories of the world leader Samsung. It is a 6.6-inch AMOLED unit with Full HD+ resolution, a very high brightness (1,300 nits) so comfortable even in the sunniest places, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and touch sampling at 600 Hz.
This last feature of Realme GT Neo2 seems an exaggeration, but for young people is essential because it ensures maximum responsiveness of the smartphone to the commands given in video games: there are few products on the market capable of pushing up to this value. The screen integrates the fingerprint reader for secure unlocking and a hole, in the upper left corner, within which is placed the 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The chip Realme GT Neo2 is the Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm with support for 5G networks and eight-core configuration with a maximum frequency of 3.2 GHz. This value guarantees high performance, and for this Realme has provided GT Neo2 with a very advanced cooling system that uses aerospace-derived graphene and a vapor chamber system larger than ever. According to Realme this guarantees a decrease in temperatures of up to 18 degrees Celsius.
On the camera front Realme GT Neo2 is equipped with three sensors on the rear surface: the main wide-angle is 64 megapixels, there are then an 8 megapixel ultra wide-angle and one for taking very close-up (macro) photos of 2 MP. The battery is 5,000 mAh and there is fast charging via cable at 65 watts.
Realme GT Neo2, prices and availability
Realme GT Neo2 for the moment is available only in China from September 27 in three colors: a faded but rather classic black, and the whimsical light blue and Black Mint.
Four configurations of memory provided: it starts from about 315 euros at current exchange rates for the "basic" with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space up to almost 400 euros for the 12 + 256 GB.
When it arrives in Italy - and it is likely - between taxes and import costs will certainly cost more.
