The Galaxy A01 Core is a smartphone from Samsung with removable battery and a really low price: less than 100 euros
The non-removable battery had become a must for smartphones on the market, even among the cheapest models. A revolution on the contrary, however, is what distinguishes the launch of Samsung Galaxy A01 Core, which in the most low-cost of its smartphones marks the return of the removable battery.
The smartphone on sale for less than 100 euros is part of the large family of Galaxy A and goes to take the lowest place in the economic range. While on the one hand, the focus is on adding advanced features and functions to the high-end smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy A01 winks at the past with the return of the removable battery, which can be easily replaced in case it runs out of power during use. Despite the low-cost price, the basic functions for calls, internet access, use of various apps and cameras remain.
Samsung Galaxy A01, the features
According to the first rumors, the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core is equipped with a 2017 MediaTek MT6739 SoC processor, with only 1 GB of RAM in support. The internal storage could be in two sizes: 16 GB or 32 GB, with the possibility of expansion with microSD cards. The 5.3-inch screen is LCD with HD+ resolution.
The notch and holes are obviously missing, but not the cameras: a single 8-megapixel sensor for the rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie-cam frontally on the display. The operating system is Android 10 GO and there's no shortage of a 3.5-inch headphone jack. The included removable battery is 3000 mAh.
Samsung Galaxy A01, release date and price
The Indonesian market launch date of the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core is set for July 23, available in three colors: blue, red and black. The price at the moment is less than 100 euros: it has been put on sale for $74.
