Samsung’s anti iPad Pro will be so

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is on the launch pad and this is confirmed by the many rumors about the technical specifications leaked in these hours

A few days have passed since the Galaxy Tab A8 was made official and it seems that Samsung is actually working to launch as soon as possible its new top-of-the-line tablet as well. According to rumors from Sammobile, we may already know the technical specifications of the most performing model of the S8 series, namely the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

With this device, the Korean company intends to corner Apple and its iPad Pro, thanks to a series of hardware features and software functionality very interesting. For the moment, the use of the latest Qualcomm processor and a large Super AMOLED display are highly rated. On the software front, however, Tab S8 Ultra could use Samsung's revamped graphical user interface to ensure a unique user experience, perhaps never seen before on an Android tablet. Unfortunately, there are still no official confirmations regarding the list of specifications that we will provide, but only reliable rumors, and it still remains a mystery about price and debut date.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra: how it will be

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra should rely on the new processor from Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Accompanying it will likely be 8, 12 and 16GB RAM and 128, 256 and 512GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra's display could be a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED with 3K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and support for the S Pen. Currently, rumors are talking about a small iPhone notch-style "notch" at the top of the screen, which is meant to house the two 12 MP cameras. The bezels should however be reduced to the bone and have a thickness of only 6.3 mm.

As for the rear camera, however, Samsung could opt for a 13 MP main sensor and a secondary wide-angle 6 MP.

Inside the imposing (though well optimized) body of Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, would find place a large 11,200 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 45 W. Regarding the overall dimensions we talk about 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5 mm.

Finally, it is easy to expect the Android 12 operating system with proprietary GUI at its next version, namely the One UI 4.1. To challenge Apple's iPad Pro, it's safe to imagine that numerous software features will be added to make the user experience even richer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra: price

In light of such a rich spec sheet, the price of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra could exceed, and maybe even by a lot, 1,000 euros. To get an idea, the Galaxy Tab S7+ started from 949 euros in its Plus version, to reach 1149 euros in the LTE version, but luckily today you can buy it for less.

The debut is expected for the beginning of 2022, although there are still no official statements from Samsung. This would make it even more interesting if the Korean giant actually confirms the technical specifications leaked in recent days.
